Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 2026

Our Commitment

Agent-Shield is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have equal access to security tools that protect AI agents, regardless of ability. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Accessibility is not just a compliance requirement for us — it is a core quality principle that makes our product better for all users, including those using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.

Standards We Follow

We endeavor to conform to the following accessibility standards:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA is our target conformance level. These guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible.
  • Section 508 — We design our platform with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act in mind, which requires federal agencies' electronic and information technology to be accessible to people with disabilities.
  • ADA Compliance — We make reasonable efforts to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it applies to web-based services.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features across the Agent-Shield platform:

  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Visible focus indicators are provided for all focusable elements.
  • Skip Navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is available on every page to bypass repetitive navigation.
  • Semantic HTML: We use proper semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists, forms) to ensure screen readers can accurately interpret page structure.
  • Heading Hierarchy: Each page follows a logical heading structure (h1 through h3) with no skipped levels.
  • Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Form Accessibility: All form inputs have associated labels. Required fields are clearly indicated. Error messages are announced to screen readers.
  • ARIA Attributes: We use ARIA labels, live regions, and states to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content and interactive components.
  • Reduced Motion: We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query and disable animations for users who prefer reduced motion.
  • Dark Mode: The platform uses a high-contrast dark theme to ensure text readability and reduce eye strain.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following limitations:

  • Charts and Visualizations: Some data visualizations (pie charts, bar charts) in audit reports may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide tabular data alternatives where possible.
  • PDF Reports: Generated PDF audit reports may have limited accessibility features. We recommend using the web-based audit results view for the most accessible experience.
  • Third-Party Components: Some third-party UI components may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We work with component library maintainers to improve accessibility over time.

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across the entire platform.
